As part of our on going commitment to the development of music in school, the children in Year 1 are working with East Riding Music Services this half term and are learning how to drum. Every week the children in Year 1 take part in a drumming lesson. Through these lessons the children learn to listen to rhythms, keep a steady beat, create tempo and ultimately create a finished piece to perform. the children are really focused and concentrate well to become better musicians.
