The children in KS2 worked with one of our own hidden treasures, Mrs Shipley, who came to talk to the children about archeology. The children worked together to create a historical timeline so that they could see where the Egyptians, the topic they are working on, fit in to it. They then made a cake together which represented the different periods in time and how archeologists find historical evidence by digging down through these layers in the earth.
