The children at Burton Agnes had a spring in their step for their first week back to a new school year.  Working with the fabulous team from 'skip to be fit' the children took part in skipping challenges.  Not only did the activity set the children's heart racing, it taught them about the importance of self- confidence, determination, perseverance, resilience and self belief. All of these skills are regularly talked about with the children and can be applied to all aspects of their learning and life.

The children worked hard to do a 2 minute skip and then beat their scores using special ropes that counted their skips.  The children will now take this further and take part in a ' daily skip' to improve their fitness levels and the understanding that practise makes us better.
